Into Somerset in the House of Lords
Into Somerset has spent a day in the House of Lords to spread the message that Somerset is ‘where you and your business can grow’. The Into Somerset team were the guests of Lord Ewen Cameron, Patron of the inward investment organisation, and were joined by key people from some of Somerset’s most important businesses, Into Somerset board members, MPs, nuclear industry experts and international trade and enterprise bodies.
Gavin Eddy, Somerset investor and founder of the entrepreneurial business Forward Space, spoke at the event of the many commercial advantages of being located in the county, known to many as ‘Britain’s best-kept secret’.
